At the second meeting of the Chamber Assembly in the new session (chaired by Mr. Vlastimir Golubovic, President), held on 16 December 2011 the Chamber Work Program for 2012 was adopted along with the financial plan and the decision on the membership fee in the Chamber for the coming year while new members of the Supervisory Board of the Chamber of Economy were also elected.
The Work Program of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro for 2012 is a framework that sets goals based on objective projections leaving the space for positive selection of new ideas, knowledge and strategic directions which come from expressed needs of the Montenegrin economy, by elaborating the  document explained Mr. Pavle D. Radovanović, secretary general of the Chamber, and it is based on the achieved level of economic development, focused on improving business environment, promoting competition and activities of branch associations that pool the economy.
The special emphasis in the Work Program of the Chamber adopted by the Chamber Assembly, was placed on improving foreign economic relations and projects aimed at promotion of the Montenegrin economy, arbitration courts within the Chamber and other activities relevant to the economy and easier doing business.
One of the fundamental values of the Chamber work will be building of functional and legislatively harmonized market as the basic mechanism of coordination of economic activities, since Montenegro is officially admitted to the WTO on 17 December this year. Incorporating the views and opinions of the economy, the Chamber will prepare fact driven requests and proposals and direct them to the Government to create a favorable environment for a competitive and open economy.
The program primarily plans to promote intensive use of free entrepreneurial incentives based on stimulating establishment and operation of small and medium enterprises and of all production and service projects that contribute to economic growth.
We plan a continuation of the project of branding local products with the trademark “Good from Montenegro", which contributes to an adequate evaluation of a number of high quality Montenegrin products. Its part is not only affirmation, but also further improvement of the quality of these products and broadening the circle of these manufacturers and products that meet the highest international quality standards.
In 2012, the Chamber, as outlined in the Work Program, recognizing the importance of raising efficiency, technological progress and quality of operations, will continue with educational activities, organize seminars, workshops and round tables.
Also, the subject of the activities will continue to be provision of services and certificates and issuing TIR and ATA Carnets and harmonization of schedules for domestic and international road transport.

The Assembly of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro adopted the decision on the rate at which is calculated and paid a membership contribution to the Chamber, which stays at the same level as in the last year. In 2008 it was reduced from 0.32% to 0.30%, and in 2011 by 10% more and amounts to 0.27% of gross salary.
